St Brigid's NS is a mixed Catholic Primary School in the picturesque village of Clonegal, with 145 pupils on roll. The staff includes an Administrative Principal, eight Teachers plus two shared Resource Teachers and five S.N.As – four are working in the two special classes for pupils with autism and one is working in a mainstream class. We also have a full time secretary and a Caretaker/Cleaner.

Our school is co-educational, under the patronage of the Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin. The school has a Catholic ethos but welcomes children of all faiths and none. An after-school service is provided by Millview Montessori School, who collect the children at 2 and again at 3 o’clock. This service is in the local St Brigid’s Hall and they avail of the facilities in the school grounds.
